Look up, into the soft light. Follow the fluttering sound and sparks of movement. A PERCH FLOOR LAMP BY UMUT YAMAC — beautiful and proud, a swinging glimmer of warm light. And yet you are indoors, after daylight has faded, under the spell of the PERCH FLOOR LAMP BY UMUT YAMAC.

At 164 cm tall, this art deco floor lamp is not simply a source of light — it is an event in the room. A slender stem of brushed brass rises from a flat disc base, clean and unhurried, until a horizontal arm extends near the summit and a single origami bird settles upon it. Sculpted from white polycarbonate and delicate synthetic paper, the bird is angular and precise, its geometric wings and elongated tail giving it the unmistakable quality of something hand-folded — part paper craft, part living creature, part light source. Gold-tipped details at its feet and bill reward the closer look.

The PERCH FLOOR LAMP BY UMUT YAMAC demands careful placement in the best possible way. Position it beside an armchair where its bird-height composition creates a reading corner with genuine personality. Stand it in the corner of a bedroom where its 164 cm profile — proportional to the human form — gives the space a sense of inhabited scale rather than decoration. In an open-plan living area it earns its place beside a sofa, contributing warmth and sculptural interest without the visual weight of a conventional floor lamp.

The frame is constructed from steel and aluminium, providing the structural stability that holds the composition steady without anchoring the entryway lamp visually. The contrast between the warm brushed brass of the pole and base and the cool white of the origami bird art sculptures creates a pairing that sits effortlessly in Nordic, contemporary, Japandi, and eclectic interiors alike.
