POPPY VASE WHITE GOLD
There is vase that hold flowers, and then there are vases that become them. The POPPY VASE WHITE GOLD belongs firmly in the second category — a sculptural tour de force in handmade porcelain that transforms the act of display into a gesture of pure artistry.
The body rises in a bold, outward-flaring silhouette, its entire surface articulated by deep, crisp vertical ribs in matte white bisque porcelain — a form that references Art Deco architecture and the gathered stems of a garden bouquet simultaneously. At the rim, the composition breaks into full bloom: a crown of large, ruffled sculptural poppy flowers, individually handcrafted in porcelain and finished in two striking tones — warm 24ct gold and cool charcoal grey — creating a palette of deliberate contrast that is as bold as it is refined.
The result is a gold vase sculpture that reads as a still life, a sculpture, and a statement piece in equal measure. It needs no flowers to justify its presence on a sideboard, console, or entrance hall plinth — though it will frame them magnificently when you choose to use it. A natural centrepiece for Art Deco interiors, maximalist rooms, and spaces that welcome an object with genuine personality.
