DOE CONSOLE BY RACHEL & BENOIT CONVERS

Imagined by designer Benoît Convers and reissued in weathering Corten steel, DOE CONSOLE BY RACHEL & BENOIT CONVERS is a life-size outdoor doe console-sculpture from the Mobilier de Compagnie collection, hand-crafted at the Ibride workshop in France. Equal parts functional console and fine garden sculpture, Callisto commands presence in any exterior setting — a garden, terrace, courtyard, or landscape project — with the quiet dignity of a wild animal at rest.

Cut and shaped from Corten steel, DOE CONSOLE BY RACHEL & BENOIT CONVERS does not merely sit in a landscape — it becomes part of it. Corten is a living material: exposed to air, rain, and sunlight, the surface undergoes a natural oxidation process that builds a warm, rich rust-colored patina entirely unique to each individual piece. No two DOE CONSOLE BY RACHEL & BENOIT CONVERS age identically. The patina acts as a self-protecting skin, sealing the steel against further corrosion while giving the sculpture a deeply organic, ever-evolving character that only deepens with the seasons.

At 150 cm tall and 96 cm wide, DOE CONSOLE BY RACHEL & BENOIT CONVERS is unmissably elegant — a sculptural silhouette that reads as contemporary art as much as outdoor furniture. The geometric, faceted body is a study in thoughtful design: angular planes catch the shifting light throughout the day, while the slender legs and alert head evoke the grace and stillness of a doe in the wild. Placed against pampas grass, stone terracing, or a garden wall, it blends with its surroundings as naturally as the material it is made from.

Crafted with the same meticulous attention as every piece in the Ibride collection, DOE CONSOLE BY RACHEL & BENOIT CONVERS is built to endure outdoors — weather-resistant, heat-resistant, and designed to grow more beautiful with every passing year.
